In addition, originally designed costumes, masks and headdresses will be on display. Question-and-answer sessions will be held with Riley and participating artists.
“This showcase is a love letter to the arts, dance theatre and movement and especially our community,” Riley said in a news release.
“It’s an opportunity to celebrate the power of dance theatre, movement and expressions of the human conditions through these wonderful films and to inspire the next generation of artists right here in Windsor.”
All films were shot in Windsor, with assistance from the film community and through local sponsorships.
The local short film showcase takes place May 24, at the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts Armouries Theatre, 37 University Ave. E.
